Make the Wall Work for You
Discuss the items you want to display or store, the available wall width, shelf depth, spacing and intended load. A decorative shelf, entry organizer and large blanket rack have different requirements. Custom sizes let the piece fit the way you use the room.
Live edges can retain the character of the board. More refined straight edges offer a different look. Wood corbels, brackets, mounting method and wall construction should be considered with the design; the support needs to suit both the piece and its intended use.

A Recent Live-Edge Shelf
A completed custom shelf measured 32 inches long × 8 inches deep, with two wood corbels, no back and no pegs. That particular shelf sold for approximately $200. This is a completed-project price example, not a universal fixed price. The photograph below shows a different completed wall piece.
Solid Oak Entryway Organizer
The approved Solid Oak Entryway Organizer price is $229. Ask about availability or a variation before ordering. Changes to dimensions, wood, storage layout, hooks or finish can change the quote.
Wood, Finish and Mounting
Discuss the grain and color you prefer, available species and the existing room. Dimensions, lumber requirements, construction, hardware, finish and complexity affect pricing. Wall material and mounting needs matter too—include a photograph of the intended location when you inquire.
How to Begin
Send your city, approximate width and depth, what the piece needs to hold, inspiration photographs and a budget range if you have one. Steven will discuss the design and materials, then provide a custom quote. Approve the project and any required deposit before construction; pickup or delivery is arranged as applicable. Timing varies with scope, material availability and current workload.
