What Does Custom Work Cost?
Every project is quoted individually. These approved examples help you understand the investment:
Solid Oak Entryway Organizer — $229.
Red Oak & Hackberry Entryway Table — starting at $750. The completed example measures 48″ × 12″ × 30″.
Custom live-edge wall shelf — approximately $200 for an initial 32″ × 8″ design. This is a project pricing example, not a fixed price for every shelf. Final dimensions, materials and design are confirmed in your quote.
Price depends on size, wood species, lumber requirements, joinery and construction, hardware, finish, complexity and delivery requirements. A different design or material can change the quote. These are individually handcrafted pieces, with dimensions and construction discussed for your intended use.

Do I need plans before contacting you?
No. An idea, photograph, rough sketch or approximate measurements is enough to start the conversation.
Can you build something from a photograph?
A photograph can guide the discussion. We work through dimensions, materials, construction and practical changes before quoting.
What does custom furniture cost?
Each piece is individually quoted. The approved examples above provide a starting point; size, species, construction and finish determine your project's price.
What types of wood do you use?
The completed work includes red oak and hackberry, among other woods. Species selection depends on availability, appearance, intended use and budget; discuss the options for your project.
Can you use lumber from my own tree?
Some customer logs can provide usable lumber. Suitability, condition, milling yield and drying requirements must be evaluated first. Not every tree or log is suitable. See Sawmill Services.
How long does a custom build take?
Timing varies with project scope, material availability, drying needs and current workload. Discuss your desired date before approving the project.
Do you deliver?
Pickup or delivery arrangements are discussed for each project. Include your city and access requirements when requesting a quote so availability and any delivery cost can be confirmed.

At Liberty Woodworks, our concept designs illustrate the general appearance of a proposed project. Because we work with natural hardwood, each completed piece will have its own distinctive grain, color, knots, and natural characteristics.
Even when we repeat a design, no two pieces will be identical. We build each project individually and work to meet the customer’s agreed specifications.
