Red Oak & Hackberry Entryway Table

A completed Liberty Woodworks project combining a light hackberry top with a darker red oak base and lower shelf.

The Finished Piece

The table measures 48 inches long × 12 inches deep × 30 inches tall. Its narrow footprint suits an entryway, with an open lower shelf for additional storage or display. The photograph below shows the actual completed table.

Wood and Design

Hackberry forms the top. Red oak forms the base and lower shelf, with Special Walnut stain on the oak. The contrast between the lighter top and darker framework is a visible feature of this build.

The top, base and lower shelf work together as one piece. For a similar commission, dimensions, wood availability, construction, shelf clearance and finish would be discussed before quoting.
